The complete AUDE toolkit with accompanying guidance is now available on the AUDE website.
A password is required to open the models. Due to the fact they contain EMS data, the old model and new MEC are only available to UK Higher Education Directors of Estates (or equivalent).
Please e-mail Bernard Dromgoole (HEFCE), or Suzanne Irwin (AUDE) to apply for your password.
Updated June 2011
Initially developed for the UK HE Space Management Project, the AUDE toolkit was further developed through the AUDE Space Management Development project in line with the national agenda promoting financial and economic sustainability. The project was supported by HEFCE, SFA, HEFCW, DELNI with advice from London Economics and Kilner Planning.
The new toolkit contains:
- A Model of Estate Costs (MEC) and user guide. Predicted annualised costs are expressed financially and in terms of national carbon emissions.
- A series of examples of Space Assessment Models (SAMs) and guidance on how to use them, together with advice on how to develop an institutional space profile.
