Breaking News...

1. The 2010 update to the newly developed Model of Estates Costs (MEC) and the new Space Assessment Model (SAM) is now available on both the AUDE website at http://www.aude.ac.uk/info-centre/aude_toolkit_forsustainableestate and also the SMG website utilising a link at http://smg.ac.uk/the_model.html
   
   
2. The 2010 update to the Benchmarking tool is exclusively available on the SMG website at http://smg.ac.uk/the_model.html The Benchmarking tool which uses the same password as MEC is a spreadsheet-based which allows users to compare the size of their actual non-residential estate with predictions of its space use which are based on assumptions set within the tool.
   
   
3. The SMG website will also be given a face lift to improve the look, ease of navigation and will also be streamlined to give up to date information more readily, but still to retain the good guidance of the SMG reports currently at http://smg.ac.uk/Phase_1_reports.html and the previous studies over the last 10/15 years at http://smg.ac.uk/previousstudies.html. The update should be completed before the end of September 2010
   
   
4. The outputs of the Learning Landscapes in HE project led by the University of Lincoln are now available after the launch on 13 April 2010 at a conference at Queen Mary, University of London.

Reports/tools contains a library of downloadable publications and tools. You can download reports from Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the SMP as well as the spreadsheet-based Model of the Affordable Estate. Copies of Previous Research reports on space management in the UK are also available.
